Who says two actresses – Priyanka and Kareena – can’t be friends?
Here's the latest update from the world of Bollywood. We bet you wouldn't want to miss this. Read on for details... The Mary Kom actress finally opens up on her rapport with her foe-turned-friend
Whenever you think of Priyanka Chopra and Kareena Kapoor, catfight is the first thing that comes to mind. After a bitter rivalry of years, the two had patched up at Mumbai Police event Umang in 2010. And this latest episode clearly proves that the two actresses have really let bygones be bygones.
We all know how Kareena recently gushed over Priyanka and said that she is doing an “amazing” job in the West.

At the cover launch of a leading men’s magazine last evening, Priyanka reciprocated the gesture. When asked what she had to say about Kareena’s kind words, the actress replied, “She has been very encouraging of me, and all the ‘tedhi’ things I do, and I admire her for that. I wish her the best in life. Words like that coming from your colleagues give you the strength to do better work.”
It’s hard to believe that these two are the same actresses who, a few years ago, wouldn’t miss a single opportunity to take jibes at each other. Their rivalry began after Aitraaz when Priyanka walked away with all the accolades while Kareena was left fuming.

It only intensified further in 2008 when the Mary Kom actress allegedly started dating Kareena’s ex-flame Shahid Kapoor.
And if you had any doubts about their dislike for each other, one only had to watch Koffee With Karan. Kareena taunted PeeCee’s accent saying, “I wonder where Priyanka got her accent from.” The dusky actress retorted, “I got my accent from the same place where her boyfriend got it from,” referring to Kareena’s then boyfriend Saif Ali Khan.

On another occasion, Kareena stated that she doesn’t “want a National Award”. Priyanka, in her catty way, had retorted saying, “I guess if you don’t have a National Award, then sour grapes!”
